The grace period (SW, chapter 7)

chanson, November 13, 2007

When I woke up, Jake was already in the shower. I rested in bed listening to the water and gathering my strength.

Jake came out of the bathroom in his boxers and started getting dressed. “Well? You’d better get up and take your shower,” he said. “You’ve got a big day ahead of you.” Read the rest of the story »

I watched the second hand slowly make its way around the clock face. For all of the bright, enthusiastic people running it, Sacrament Meeting in a BYU student ward really wasn’t any more interesting than the Sacrament Meetings put on by the worn-out, tired families back home. And here of…

Wandering the Afterlife, Never Knowing the Plot: Review of Tales of Unworthiness by Paul H. Dumm

September 18, 2024

The clue to the narrative engine is in this book’s title: “Tales of Unworthiness,” three stories crafted by Paul H. Dumm. The pen name for author Scott Stevens—a play on the name Paul H. Dunn—sets the tone for this 103-page book of speculative fiction of Mormon life. A  popular speaker…

CH: Do you ‘automatically’ append the latest additions to the (PDF) files that sdrawkcab people like me (no ipod) can find this online?

    Thanks Wayne and Guy!!

There’s nothing automatic about it. On my website for the novel, I edit the html and php files by hand. (I should upgrade to an automatic system with an RSS feed, but it’s such a small modification each time that I don’t bother.)

As for the PDF file (which you have and others can get by emailing me chanson dot exmormon at gmail dot com), the entire novel is there. No need to request further updates… 😉
