Sunday in Outer Blogness: Where we’re going edition!

chanson, December 14, 2008January 15, 2011

In honor of Andrew’s question, this week I’ve decided to gather up just those posts where the good folks of Outer Blogness discuss a bit about where they’re at in their religious journeys this holiday season…

Many are still dealing with the stress of living in a mixed-faith family. MoHoHawaii is getting ready for yuletide Prop 8 fallout as he and Tobi spend the holidays with LDS siblings. Simian and his wife, unfortunately, are having difficulty working out any kind of compromise on their religious differences. Lubab No More is keeping the peace through continued religious practice, and is taking a philosophical attitude towards it, enjoying the traditions for their own sake. I like traditions for their own sake too. 😉

Some miss belief in God during the holidays, some don’t. Some still feel anger, some still feel awe. Some are satisfied with the hard truth, others are satisfied with another faith community. And some have stopped living for someday.

    Glad you liked them!!

Actually, there were an amazing number of great posts this past week! Ultimately, I figured it would be simpler to pick a theme and just highlight those that went along with the theme, even if it meant skipping many that I would like to have included in my roundup.
