The Utah State Senate is adding to the list of “state symbols” a “state gun” – the Browning M1911. I’ve taken the liberty of redesigning the state flag for Utah as a result of this change:

Haha, that’s great! It reminds me of this site where they grade the world’s ugliest flags. If Utah adopts your design, it won’t be the only place to adorn its flag with weapons. 😉
How about a new state motto while we’re at it? Something like the recent UPS slogan comes to mind:
“What can Browning do for you?”
Cue the off-color jokes (and forgive the pun.) 🙂
Are the barrels aimed at the center for artistic or symbolic reasons?

I’m not much of an “artist” and can’t claim credit for thinking symbolically either.
And yet the symbolism kind of works. I also noticed that the design seemed to be shooting itself…
